Thanks a million! You saved me! I’ve installed everything and it works like a charm on Leopard. I didn’t need step 5 and 6 though; I could change the color settings locally.

My HP 1600 printer stopped working (shows “offline”). I’ve installed the printer with particular instructions succesfully before.

I tried to install the printer again with the same procedure but without success…
Should I uninstall the components before reinstalling? I’m a rookie Mac user, and not a genius with these things (as you can see).

Any tips?

Thanks a Zillion guys! i followed the steps verbatim and i had Zero issues and 100% positive results. I love this. Have no idea how helpful this resource is especially when you’re working out of Africa (Ghana) with minimal resources to fall back on. Nice work!

My configuration is iMac 2010 core i3 4 Gb memory and Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1. and I’ve tested the installation successfully.
